The ability to combine gritty storytelling, lyrical acrobatics and soulful harmonies, in both English and Spanish, is what separates Gary Soulz from many of his peers. Raised by two Hispanic immigrants from Honduras and Colombia, this Boston native may seem to be at the top of his game, yet he rejects complacency and starves himself of satisfaction. Instead, he's focused on creativity, execution and growth. Fueled by passion and dedication, Gary's music is the vehicle that drives him, elevates him and guides him on his journey.
Rewinding back to 2012, after releasing his debut mixtape "It's Just Me" (under the moniker G.O.), the Boston hip hop scene quickly took notice, leading to collaborations with local favorites Reks and Akrobatik underground hip-hop legends Rapper Big Pooh, Oddisee, & Fashawn.
Looking to expand past the confines of his hometown, deciding it was time to switch gears, G.O. morphed into Gary Soulz back in 2016. He's since gone on to release 10 singles, his 2018 EP "Farewell", which hosts the Bizness Boi produced fan favorite “Mind on You” followed by his 2019 LP "Whatever It Takes", that includes features by Sebastian Mikael and BJ The Chicago Kid.

To fans that have followed Gary Soulz since day one, Committed Action evidently shows Gary’s transformation into a brand new identity with lyrics like “ask me how I tripled my income in 3 months” and “I just closed another deal, I’m talking long racks” (Say Less Freestyle; Beyond That).
This is a brand new territory for Gary, stepping away from your average musician storyline which is that of struggle, pain, dream chasing and 9 to 5 miseries, to what now seems to be a radical shift as he’s stepped into a full blown entrepreneur, breathing new life into his journey and his confidence.
Committed Action is Gary’s way of telling those that come across his 3-track pack single, “I found value in my failures, & now I’m capitalizing on them”.
That’s the perspective and mindset that one must develop if you want to experience success and longevity, especially in an industry that is so unpredictable and designed to take you down more times than lift you up.
